objective
This project centered on visualizing music through photography and typography by redesigning an LP and CD cover for an existing album. Both covers had to be distinctly different from each other, but also communicate the same mood.

The album I chose for this project was Atlanta Millionaires Club by Faye Webster. This collection of songs embodies loneliness and longing for what once was. I communicated these themes by constructing scenes with miniature dollhouse furniture that convey feelings of melancholy and nostalgia while also encapsulating the album's elegance.
unedited photos
To create these scenes, I constructed the room out of cardboard, paint, and popsicle sticks before placing the furniture. I shot these photos in the early morning by a large window to achieve a dreamy and sentimental feel.
iterations
In this first round of iterations, I explored different options for composition, typefaces, and color grading.

final LP design
I had a second photoshoot for the final designs, focusing on improving image quality and lighting. I also stacked the furniture instead of just creating a scene, which made the compositions more dynamic and visually appealing.
